                   - then coaching can help.

What is coaching?

Coaching is a positive, forward-looking one-to-one relationship to help you reach your goals - at work, in your professional life and in your personal life. There are many things you can accomplish with a private coach.
· Move your career in a more positive direction.
· Wake up more excited and enthusiastic about your work.
· Live a more balanced life - one in which you can reach all of your goals, not just your work or money goals.
Things like this seldom happen by chance or accident. Coaching is a positive, proactive step to lead to the kind of life and the kind of career you want to have.

The Whole Person Approach
Dr. Bob McDonald developed an approach to coaching that helps people bring all of themselves to work every day. By taking a comprehensive look at your career - your talents, interests, personality, skills, values, family, spiritual life, age, personal health, and goals - you can be in work that inspires you, that you love, and that you are really good at.

Dr. McDonald's approach has been used since 1992 with thousands of people nationwide. It is being used in such corporations as Cisco Systems, GlaxoSmithKline, IBM and others.

If you would like to read about the Whole Person Approach that Dr. McDonald developed, you can order his book, Don't Waste Your Talent. Order Book Here. In it Dr. McDonald guides you through the Whole Person Approach and even gives you exercises to help you create your own career vision.

How does it work?
Coaching is generally a one-to-one relationship. You will usually meet with your coach - either by phone or in person - three times a month. Your coach is also available for brief consultations by phone or e-mail at other times when necessary. The Whole Person Approach allows you to cover ground as efficiently and effectively as possible. Your coach will help you create a comprehensive, working vision that will be a tool you can use for the rest of your career.
You can:
· Use your gifts and talents better
· Work with more productivity, enjoyment and satisfaction
· Lead a more balanced life.

Your career should be bigger than just the job you do every day. Your coach will help you look at a bigger picture of yourself and what you want to do with your life. Your career involves your talent, your interests, your personality, your health and fithess, your values, your goals, your spiritual life and your family. By creating a plan that includes all of the necessary and critical elements for your career, you open up choices and directions you might not have considered before.
