What is executive coaching?
Executive coaching is a positive, cost-effective way to insure that you are making maximum use of the talent of key people in your organization. Studies have shown that the key talent in your organization contributes 126% more to the bottom line of the company than other people. Executive coaching can mean that these people are consistently:
      · Happier
      · Less stressed
      · More productive

Dr. McDonald conducted original outcome research in corporations such as Cisco Systems, GlaxoSmithKline and IBM that demonstrate long-term results for his whole person approach to key talent.

The Whole Person approach.

We hire people for their skills, but the whole person shows up for work. ~Chester I. Barnard

We would all like to think that our key talent shows up for work every day and thinks of nothing besides moving the interests of the company forward. But the truth is, your key talent, just like everyone else, has a life that goes on independently from the company. At any one time, for instance, fully 1/3 to 1/2 of these people are at or near a career and life Turning Point. This means they are seriously taking stock of what they are doing in their careers and, very possibly, what they should be doing next.

By helping people gain a bigger vision for their lives and careers, Dr. McDonald helps your key executives and decision-makers
      · Use their gifts and talents more effectively
      · Work with more balance in their lives
      · Experience less stress and more satisfaction

Dr. McDonald developed the Whole Person approach to coaching based on over 2 years of research and 10 years of experience using it in corporations. You can read about it in his book, Don't Waste Your Talent: The 8 critical steps to discovering what you do best. Dr. Stephen Covey called this approach "powerful, practical and personal." How does it work?
Dr. McDonald will meet individually with your key executives, either by phone, in person or a mixture of the two. He will help them develop professional visions for their careers - visions that include all of the many factors that influence their lives. He will also help them develop a clear set of personal and career goals. He will help them integrate their personal visions with your company's goals and help ensure that their talent is more fully and consistently available to you and to them.

If you wish to keep your most important leaders and future leaders - not only in the present, but in the long run - then they each need a personal career vision that includes not only the critical elements of their own lives, but also the critical elements of the company's goals. Dr. McDonald is the creator of a structure and approach that has been shown through research measures to have a significant long term impact, not only on connection to company and productivity, but also on balance, satisfaction and fithess for role.
